BioI'm an archaeology graduate, living and working in York, on digs. This basically means I'm broke all the time, but I love scrabbling around in the dirt and finding little things that show the people in the history books were, you know... people, as opposed to abstract concepts. It's one thing reading about ancient wars and kings and rulers, and all that jazz, but finding a family shrine or something is wholly different. The coolest thing I've ever found was a pottery elephant... nearly intact.
Oh yeah, and I once met Tony Robinson while on a summer dig with uni. That was cool.

No offense is meant... this is a creative exercise for Annise's own amusement. While Gloria Jones is generally PG-13, she does occasionally get involved in Lovecraftian horror stories, so be warned.
